In the interest of insuring the quality of good local government, we ask that anyone having substantial information concerning inappropriate employee behavior advise the Waking Bear©. We are speaking of behavior which includes:
- * Deliberate attempts on the part of Board of Education members or the administration to mislead the public or corrupt the offices to which they have been elected or appointed.
- * Abuse, misuse or unauthorized use of government property including but not limited to vehicles, phones, copy machines, computers, athletic equipment and office supplies.
- * Being absent from place of assigned function or failure to perform assigned tasks in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
- * Abusive use of medical leaves.
- * Falsification of documents.
- * Any matter you perceive as inappropriate.

If warranted AND you are comfortable with the idea, arrangements can be made for a reporter from the Waking Bear to meet with you personally and discuss the merits of your accusations. Otherwise, everything will be conducted via email.

Activities recognized as being clearly criminal in nature should be referred to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. Thank you.
